- Clean: Degrease the transmission cover (e.g., silicone remover or isopropanol).
- Mount: Position the cover precisely and fasten it — no intervention in the engine or transmission is necessary.
- Care: Wipe with a mild cleaner; do not direct a high-pressure cleaner onto the edges.
FAQ
Does the cover affect functionality? No — it sits on the outside of the cover and is purely an aesthetic component.
Does the plastic withstand riding conditions? ABS is impact-resistant, dimensionally stable, and suitable for outdoor use — the same material as many stock fairing parts.
