Biberschwanz (Beaver Tail)
The Biberschwanz is a flatter, rectangular tile. Beaver tail tiles generally require flatter roof penetrations with a maximum cross-section of 105 mm, as they offer less clearance.
Doppelmuldenfalzziegel (DMF - Double Pan Interlocking Tile)
The Doppelmuldenfalzziegel (DMF) offers better drainage and allows for tighter laying patterns. DMF tiles can accommodate well-sized penetrations from 125 mm to 150 mm. For PV roof penetrations, the DMF shape is ideal.
Hohlpfanne (Pantiles) and Marseille Tile

The roof penetration is simply hooked into the tile from above. The upper edge engages in the interlocking of the tile above to safely drain water.
Step 4: Insert and secure the cable
Guide the cable through the flexible sleeve. The sleeve adapts elastically to the cable cross-section and provides reliable abrasion protection.
